Starting immediately, every Thursday and Friday, medical masseur Markus Hohenwarter can bring new relaxation to your spine, legs or whole body, right here at the Wolayersee Refuge, beneficial effects are guaranteed. And you can enjoy the session amidst magnificent mountain scenery in the highest peaks of the Carnic Alps. The World Champion in mountain running knows exactly what it takes to master these mountains. He walks the trail to the Valentinalm every week.

Running is incomparable
When I run, I feel free. Running is the ideal way for me to strengthen body and spirit and measure myself against the achievements of others. I love being out in nature in every season of the year, moving through it, experiencing its beauty close up. For me that is true happiness, something everyone should have a chance to feel.

In summertime, I offer my medical massage sessions once a week, every Thursday, at the Wolayersee Refuge.

In summer 2012 the refuge was completely overhauled and redone. It now has its own seminar room available for educational purposes. There are also additional small rooms for overnights and a fantastic new panorama terrace.
